The iconic Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal, combined with unpredictable weather conditions, posed a significant challenge for Max Verstappen. The race started with George Russell securing pole position in his Mercedes and leading the pack for a period. However, Lando Norris quickly took control of the race and distanced himself from the chasing pack. Unfortunately, Logan Sargeant’s mistake put an end to his promising performance. McLaren also made errors in their calculations, forcing their driver to settle for second place.

At the forefront of the race, Verstappen emerged victorious, marking his 60th Grand Prix win. Norris earned a well-deserved second place, while Russell managed to secure third place despite his acknowledged mistakes. It is worth noting that both Lando and George had a genuine chance of winning in Montreal, but in the end, it was Max who triumphed, as discussed in the accompanying video.

In addition, Jacques Villeneuve’s comments and remarks throughout the weekend sparked discussions. The warning given by JV to Daniel Ricciardo also caught attention and was analyzed. Sergio Perez’s disappointing performance added to Red Bull’s frustration, especially considering his recent two-year contract extension with the team. Our experts provide further insights into the weekend’s events.
