Brad Keselowski is pleased with Chris Buescher’s recent performances. The last two races in the NASCAR Cup Series have been extremely disappointing for RFK Racing. In Kansas, Buescher narrowly lost to the 2021 Champion by a tiny margin of 0.001 seconds after a fierce battle in the final turn. And in Darlington, he was taken out of the lead with only 10 laps remaining.
These consecutive disappointments left the driver of the No. 17 Ford Mustang emotional, leading to a heated confrontation with Tyler Reddick after the race. However, the only positive result was his teammate and team owner’s victory in Darlington.
After the race, Brad Keselowski, the winner of the Goodyear 400, was asked about his advice for Buescher. He encouraged his teammate not to change anything and to continue racing in the same style that has brought him success. Keselowski, the 2012 Cup champion, emphasized that Buescher’s unique racing style is what makes him stand out.
Discussing Buescher’s emotional state, Keselowski, the driver of the No. 6 Ford, expressed his acceptance of his driver’s frustration at not achieving desired results. He believes that getting upset when not winning is a characteristic he values in his driver.
RFK Racing once again found the winning formula for success with the Ford teams in the new Dark Horse Mustang. They hope to replicate this performance in future races and secure a victory for Buescher.
