VIDEO – Adidas Unveils Bold Miami-Inspired Collection During George Russell and Kimi Antonelli’s Arrival

Revolutionizing the Miami Grand Prix: Mercedes Stars Turn Heads in Exclusive adidas Collection

In a groundbreaking fashion statement, George Russell and Kimi Antonelli made a grand entrance at the Miami Grand Prix. The Mercedes duo arrived at Hard Rock Stadium in an adidas-themed spectacle, showcasing the brand’s latest summer collection that perfectly complemented the design of their car.

Sporting the new adidas x Mercedes collaboration, Russell and Antonelli exuded style and sophistication as they rolled in, turning heads and setting tongues wagging. The rookie driver, comfortably seated in the passenger seat of the convertible, flaunted adidas’ hero drivers jersey paired with sleek black joggers. Meanwhile, Russell opted for a more casual look with a t-shirt and beige trousers, both embodying the essence of Miami chic.

The exclusive collection, a result of the partnership between adidas and Mercedes, was unveiled earlier this year with a special release inspired by the vibrant city of Miami. Drawing inspiration from the lush mangroves native to the region, the pieces featured a contemporary black graphic of the leaves, accented with shades of coral and burgundy mirroring the car’s striking livery.

Michael Batz, the mastermind behind adidas’ motorsport category, expressed his team’s vision to capture the spirit of Miami in a unique and refreshing manner. “Miami is a city synonymous with both sports and style, making it the perfect backdrop to launch the adidas x Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 race day collection for Summer 2025,” Batz stated. The collection, characterized by bold hues and vibrant prints, promises to infuse the F1 paddock with a touch of Miami’s distinctive flair this May.

Richard Sanders, the chief commercial officer at Mercedes, highlighted the collaboration with adidas as a pivotal move to revamp the team’s merchandise offerings and engage fans in a new and exciting way. “Our inaugural race-specific collection pays homage to Miami’s natural roots with its bold design,” Sanders remarked. The decision to unveil the summer collection at the Miami Grand Prix signifies a significant moment for the team, symbolizing their growth and expanding reach to diverse audiences worldwide.

The adidas x Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Summer collection is now available for purchase at select adidas wholesale accounts and adidas.com/motorsport, offering fans an opportunity to own a piece of this iconic collaboration.
