In the forthcoming 2025 racing season, New Zealand’s Liam Lawson is poised to embark on his rookie year with Red Bull. The young Kiwi racer has been the subject of much discussion in the racing community recently. However, not all of it has been positive.

The controversy surfaced when Zak Brown, a prominent figure in the racing world, made claims about Lawson’s “rookie weekends.” In response to these assertions, none other than Max Verstappen, a heavyweight in the racing circuit, came forward to defend the young Lawson.

Verstappen, known for his aggressive racing style and unapologetic demeanor, did not hold back in his counter to Brown’s statements. The nature of his response is yet to be disclosed, but knowing Verstappen’s outspoken personality, it is bound to make waves in the racing community.

In conclusion, the upcoming racing season is charged with anticipation, not only for the on-track action but also for the unfolding off-track dynamics. As the “rookie weekends” controversy continues to brew, it is clear that Lawson’s debut season will be anything but ordinary. As the racing world waits with bated breath, one thing is certain: the 2025 season will be a thrilling ride for fans and racers alike.
