Collin Veijer, Husqvarna rider, took the lead early on after David Alonso, who started in pole position, had an accident. Veijer maintained his lead and won the race despite challenges from David Muñoz of BOE Motorsport and Ivan Ortola of MT.

Alonso had been standing out in previous races and started at the front alongside Muñoz and Veijer. Championship leader Daniel Holgado started in 18th position after an accident in the qualifying session on Saturday, giving Alonso a chance to close the gap at the top of the table.

The Jerez circuit was mostly dry, but there were warnings of wet patches due to rain on Saturday. Muñoz took advantage at the start and overtook Alonso, but Alonso quickly regained the lead. The two riders opened up a gap over Ryusei Yamanaka, who was in third place.

However, there was drama at the end of the first lap when Alonso had an accident, ruining his chances of victory. He managed to get back on his bike and continue the race. Meanwhile, Veijer overtook Muñoz and took the lead, with Ortola moving up to third place.

Ortola continued to progress and overtook Muñoz to take second place. A leading group of six Moto3 riders formed, with Veijer, Ortola, and Muñoz leading the pack. Yamanaka, Joel Esteban, and Joel Kelso completed the front group.

Muñoz regained second place from Ortola with a strong move, showing the competitive nature of Moto3 races. Holgado, who started in 18th, steadily climbed through the pack and found himself in ninth place. The top six riders had a two-second advantage over the rest of the pack.

Veijer tried to distance himself from the pack, but Muñoz and Ortola kept up with his pace. Esteban and Yamanaka were not far behind, fighting for fourth place, with Kelso in sixth. Yamanaka set the fastest lap with 11 laps to go, while Esteban and Kelso struggled to keep up with the leading group.

Muñoz overtook Ortola again to regain second place, but Veijer remained calm and composed at the front. Ortola reclaimed second place on the 12th lap, but it was clear that the top four drivers were in contention for the win. They had a three-second advantage over Esteban and Kelso.

With two laps remaining, Veijer still led the race with Muñoz and Ortola close behind. Muñoz tried to overtake Veijer on the final corner, but Veijer defended his position. The decision came down to the last corner, but Veijer managed to hold on and cross the finish line in first place.

Muñoz finished in second place, with Ortola completing the podium. Yamanaka finished in fourth place, while Esteban had an accident on the last lap, allowing Kelso to secure fifth place. Adrian Fernandez and Holgado finished sixth and seventh, respectively. Carraro, Nepa, Piqueras, Alonso, Roulstone, Fariolo, Bertelle, and Almansa completed the points-scoring positions.
