US and Netherlands Sign Agreement for JASSM-ER Missiles

The United States and the Netherlands have signed an agreement for the purchase of Lockheed Martin’s Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile Extended Range (JASSM-ER). This missile system, which enhances long-range precision strike capabilities, will make the Netherlands the fifth international customer for JASSM-ER. Scott Redmerski, JASSM program director at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, expressed pride in supporting the Netherlands Armed Forces. The JASSM-ER features advanced hardware and software to destroy high-value targets from a safe distance.
