Between the Yaris Cross and the new C-HR, Toyota still does not have a 100% electric proposal for the highly important B-SUV segment, a gap that will be filled at the start of 2024, with the production version of this Urban SUV, a prototype that anticipates one of six exclusively electric cars that the Japanese brand will launch on the market by 2025.
Competitor of the Jeep Avenger and the Volvo EX30, the Toyota Urban SUV anticipates a model based on the same e-TNGA platform that serves the bZ4X. With 4,300 mm, the new compact SUV will be 120 mm longer than the Yaris Cross, as well as wider (55 mm) and taller (40 mm), and will be available in two or four-wheel drive versions, with one or two electric motors and two battery sizes, for a maximum range of around 400 km.
Toyota did not reveal any further technical specifications.
