In a thrilling display of skill and speed, the GT America Powered by AWS championship concluded the Grand Prix of Long Beach with an electrifying Race 2 that left spectators on the edge of their seats. The competition was fierce, showcasing the immense talent within the GT America field.
The weekend belonged to the victors of the SRO3, GT2, and GT4 classes, with Justin Rothberg, Adrian Kunzle, and Judson Holt dominating their respective categories with back-to-back wins.
In the SRO3 class, Justin Rothberg stole the show by overtaking the competition in his Turner Motorsport BMW M4 GT3. Despite a strong start by Blake McDonald in the DXDT Racing Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R, Rothberg’s skill and speed propelled him to victory once again, claiming a well-deserved first place.
Meanwhile, in the GT2 category, Adrian Kunzle showcased his prowess behind the wheel of the MLT Motorsports Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2, fending off relentless pressure from CJ Moses in the GMG Racing Audi R8 LMS GT2. Kunzle’s dominance was unmatched as he crossed the finish line in style.
The GT4 class saw Judson Holt emerging victorious in his Fast Track Racing BMW M4 GT4, after a nail-biting race that tested his abilities to the limit. Despite fierce competition from Paul Sparta in the Random Vandals Racing BMW M4 GT4, Holt’s determination and skill secured him the top spot on the podium.
The drivers showcased exceptional talent and determination throughout the races, thrilling fans and leaving a lasting impression on the Long Beach circuit. With the GT America Powered by AWS field set to return to action at Circuit of the Americas, the stage is set for another adrenaline-fueled showdown from April 25-27.
