Crew chief Ryan Bergenty could hardly contain his excitement as Smith’s No. 38 Ford Mustang crossed the finish line, clinching the pole position by a remarkable margin. Smith’s previous best start in the Cup Series was a humble seventh place, making this pole position victory even more special for the rising star.

With seven Fords, two Chevrolets, and one Toyota advancing to the final round of qualifying, the field is stacked with talent and potential. As teams make their final preparations for race day, the anticipation and excitement among drivers and fans alike continue to build.

Stay tuned as Zane Smith leads the pack to the green flag at Talladega, ready to prove himself against the best of the best in the NASCAR Cup Series.
