Revolutionizing NHRA Racing: Unprecedented Four-Wide Showdowns Await!

Rev up your engines, NHRA fans, as the Mission Foods Drag Racing Series is about to witness back-to-back heart-pounding four-wide challenges like never before! The adrenaline-fueled action kicks off with the NHRA 4-Wide Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on April 11-13, followed by another showdown at zMAX Dragway on April 25-27.

For over a decade, the four-wide drag races at zMAX Dragway have left spectators in awe with 48,000-horsepower nitro machines creating a sensory overload like no other in motorsports. The excitement doubled when The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway expanded to four lanes, offering fans in Las Vegas an unprecedented thrill ride.

The Mission #2Fast2Tasty NHRA Challenge, a fan-favorite event, spices up the competition every Saturday during the regular season, elevating the intensity during qualifying rounds. Previous week’s semifinalists face off in a rematch, and at the four-wide races, it’s the quarterfinalists who step up to the challenge.

In the upcoming Las Vegas event, quarterfinalists from the Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals will battle it out in two quads during the Mission #2Fast2Tasty NHRA Challenge. The stakes are high as two cars from each quad will advance to the final round, vying for bonus points and a lucrative bonus purse.

In the Top Fuel division, all eyes will be on Pomona winner Clay Millican as he takes on fierce competitors Brittany Force, Jasmine Salinas, and Scott Palmer. The competition heats up with Pomona runner-up Tony Stewart facing off against Shawn Langdon, Doug Kalitta, and Josh Hart.

The Funny Car category promises intense showdowns with Pomona winner Jack Beckman aiming for back-to-back Mission Challenge victories. His challengers include Gainesville winner Chad Green, Matt Hagan, and Blake Alexander. Additionally, Daniel Wilkerson will battle it out with top contenders like Paul Lee, Cruz Pedregon, and Spencer Hyde.

Reigning Pro Stock world champion Greg Anderson will defend his title against heavyweights Jeg Coughlin Jr., Brandon Foster, and Cory Reed. Meanwhile, Anderson’s teammate Dallas Glenn will clash with Matt Hartford, Deric Kramer, and newcomer Matt Latino in a battle for supremacy.

Last year’s NHRA 4-Wide Nationals champions were Doug Kalitta, Bob Tasca III, and Jeg Coughlin Jr., setting the stage for another exhilarating showdown this season. With top contenders like Shawn Langdon, Ron Capps, and Jack Beckman already securing wins, the competition is fiercer than ever.

Hold onto your seats, NHRA enthusiasts, as the Mission Foods Drag Racing Series gears up for a jaw-dropping display of speed, skill, and sheer determination in the upcoming four-wide challenges. Get ready for a thrill ride like no other as the best racers in the business go head-to-head in a battle for supremacy on the drag strip!
