Back in Fall 2024, 23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports filed an antitrust lawsuit against NASCAR, challenging the sport’s controversial charter system. If the lawsuit hadn’t gone their way, 23XI Racing would have lost its charter status, forcing Reddick and Bubba Wallace to run as “open cars” with no guaranteed starting spot in each race.
But thanks to a judge’s ruling in favor of the teams, 23XI Racing secured its place on the 2025 grid, allowing Reddick to focus entirely on racing.
Reflecting on the chaotic offseason, Reddick admitted that while he was closely watching the lawsuit’s progress, he never lost faith in 23XI’s leadership.
“I wouldn’t say it was uncomfortable, but certainly I was paying attention to it,” Reddick told reporters. “I don’t think I ever really got uncomfortable in the whole process. I have a lot of faith in our owners—Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin. I believe in them. I believe in their process. That’s why I came here, and that’s why I’m still here.”

Since joining 23XI Racing, Reddick has emerged as one of the most dynamic drivers in the sport. His three-win campaign in 2024 and run to the Championship 4 cemented his status as a true title contender.

“The vibes are good,” he said. “Everyone’s focused and getting ready for the season. From that standpoint, I’m in a happy place.”
