The luxury of Maserati is not limited only to the asphalt and if the Italian brand marked its official entry into the electric era with GranTurismo Folgore, it reinforced its commitment with the GranCabrio Folgore which was presented along with a 100% electric high-performance boat.
The Maserati Trident was designed and built by the British brand, Vita Power, and measures 10.5 meters in length and was designed for calm inland waters or coastal seas.
The Trident has capacity for eight passengers and was produced with a carbon fiber hull by the craftsmen of the prestigious American builder, Hodgdon Yachts, a specialist in super yachts.
Vita Power revealed that the Maserati Trident is equipped with an electric motor that delivers a power of 608 hp and is powered by a 252 kWh battery, providing a cruising speed of 25 knots (46 km/h), and a maximum speed of 40 knots (74 km/h). The battery can be recharged in less than an hour.
Vila Power did not reveal the price of this luxury boat that extends Maserati’s electric mobility to the water. However, it was announced that the Trident is now available for order and that its production takes 10 months, suggesting that this new era of electric mobility may not be accessible to everyone.
