In a move that no one saw coming, Trackhouse Racing and global superstar Armando “Pitbull” Pérez have ended their partnership, marking the end of a five-year collaboration that brought a fresh wave of excitement to NASCAR’s fanbase.

Pitbull, who had been a co-owner and ambassador for Trackhouse since 2021, made the stunning announcement on social media—just days before he is set to perform the pre-race concert at the Daytona 500.

“Ending partnership with Trackhouse Racing,” Pitbull wrote. “Over the past five years, we’ve made history by introducing NASCAR to a whole new audience and falling in love with NASCAR fans at the same time. We have made the decision to terminate the partnership with Trackhouse Racing, effective immediately.

“We’re looking forward to performing on the sport’s biggest stage this Sunday, the Daytona 500. It is a true honor, Dale!”

A Bold Move from a Business Visionary

Pitbull’s partnership with Justin Marks and Trackhouse Racing wasn’t just a business deal—it was a cultural game-changer. As NASCAR sought to expand its reach beyond traditional audiences, Pitbull’s presence brought new fans, new energy, and a new level of mainstream exposure.

From victory lane celebrations to a dedicated Trackhouse-themed album released in 2023, Pitbull wasn’t just a name on the ownership list—he was a full-throttle believer in the Trackhouse vision.

Trackhouse Reacts to the Split

Despite the sudden separation, Trackhouse Racing took the high road in its response.

“We’re honored and humbled that Pitbull has chosen to take this journey with Trackhouse. Thank you for all you’ve done and good luck on your next venture! DALE!!!”

Marks, the founder of Trackhouse, added his own perspective:

“This is a great business story. Armando came in when we had no certainty of any material success and took a chance to help build a brand. Now that we’ve scaled up and have new partners, he’s been able to be rewarded for the impact he’s made. A great investment on both ends. Excited to see what he does next! DALE!”

What’s Next for Pitbull and Trackhouse?

While Pitbull moves on to his next venture, Trackhouse Racing continues to build momentum in NASCAR. With Ross Chastain, Shane van Gisbergen, and Daniel Suárez piloting their full-time Cup Series entries, the team has solidified itself as a legitimate contender in the sport, racking up eight career wins since its debut season.

As for Pitbull, the question remains—is this truly his last lap in NASCAR? Or could we see him re-emerge with another team, bringing his trademark “Dale!” energy to a new project?

One thing is certain: Pitbull’s impact on NASCAR won’t be forgotten anytime soon.
