Toyota announced this Thursday that it will build a new automobile production factory in Japan, which will be located in Aichi Prefecture, near the city of the brand’s future.
The new factory is expected to begin operations in the early 2030s, with the models to be produced to be determined later.
In a statement, Toyota reminds that in addition to maintaining a production capacity of 3 million vehicles in Japan, the brand is working on creating a “factory of the future” that uses cutting-edge technology and offers an environment where a diverse workforce can thrive.
