Toyota is making moves to simplify its lineup further, with the 2025 Land Cruiser seeing a more streamlined trim structure and a slight price bump. Following the recent removal of the “Prime” name from its plug-in hybrid models, Toyota is refining the Land Cruiser’s offerings. The 2025 Land Cruiser will now start at $57,900, including a $1,450 destination fee, which is a modest $555 increase from last year’s price.
The one-year-only First Edition model is gone, leaving buyers with two trim options: the retro-inspired 1958 trim and the standard Land Cruiser trim.
Pricing Breakdown:
- 1958 Trim: $57,900 (previously $57,345)
- Land Cruiser Trim: $63,900 (previously $63,345)
The 1958 trim keeps its vintage appeal with rounded LED headlights, a “TOYOTA” heritage grille, and basic cloth seats inside. It comes equipped with an 8.0-inch touchscreen that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Moving up to the standard Land Cruiser trim, you’ll find slim rectangular LED headlights, faux leather seats, and two 12.3-inch screens as standard. Toyota also introduced two small upgrades for 2025: an integrated liftgate lighting system to improve cargo area visibility at night and a new monotone Heritage Blue paint option.
For those seeking added luxury, the Premium package remains available for $5,840. It includes features like 20-inch wheels, a 14-speaker JBL audio system, a head-up display, wireless charging, and more.
Both trims share the same powertrain: a 2.4-liter four-cylinder I-Force Max hybrid engine, producing 326 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. Paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive as standard, the Land Cruiser offers up to 23 miles per gallon in combined driving.
The 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser is set to arrive at dealerships later this fall.
