Toyota is working on an update for the Aygo X, which is expected to hit the market in 2025. The first images of the revamped city car from Toyota were revealed by “Carscoops,” which “caught” the prototype during testing, showing that the front and rear of the model are camouflaged.
As such, it is expected that the revamped Aygo X will feature a redesigned front section and a lighting signature in line with the latest models from the brand.
At the rear, the changes do not seem to be as significant, as the vertical taillights appear unchanged, but they may adopt new LED graphics. We still have to wait to see the interior of the updated Aygo X, which may bring new technology features.
As for mechanical updates, don’t expect many changes. The Aygo X shares the TNGA-B platform with the Yaris and Yaris Cross, and uses a 1.0-liter three-cylinder engine that produces 72 hp and 93 Nm of torque. However, it is worth considering the possibility of this city car gaining a hybrid variant.
