The Toyota officially presented this Tuesday its colors for the upcoming seasons of the World Rally Championship (WRC) and the World Endurance Championship (WEC). The change is radical, with the predominant white and red giving way to dark tones.
The matte black now dominates the hybrid cars of the Japanese manufacturer in WEC (GR010 Hybrid) and in WRC (GR Yaris Rally1). The white and red are still present in the logos, as they are the identity colors of Toyota.
According to a statement, one of the concepts of the decorations is “Speed” and the other is “Prototype” – which represents the spirit and approach of the manufacturer in motorsport. The decoration will also be used in other categories with Toyota Gazoo Racing participation.
