Since the end of 2021, Mercedes has been out of the regular fight for victories in Formula 1, but now it seems to see the light at the end of the tunnel for the season that starts in Bahrain at the end of February. At least in the simulator, there is enthusiasm.
The executive director and team principal, Toto Wolff, spoke to The Telegraph about the sensations of simulator driver Anthony Davidson, which are clearly encouraging… although he remains cautious:
– He was driving in Melbourne [in the simulator], and he said, “The car feels like a car for the first time in two years…”. Obviously, I would love for this to correlate with the track, but in the past two years, we have seen that it was not always the case.’
