Toni Breidinger battles sexism and sacrifices everything: how modeling fuels her NASCAR dreams

Title: Toni Breidinger: The Unstoppable Force in NASCAR Balancing Modeling and Motorsports

In the high-octane world of NASCAR, Toni Breidinger stands out not just as one of the few female drivers but as a fierce competitor unwilling to back down. The 26-year-old racing sensation has revealed the intense juggling act she performs, funding her NASCAR Truck Series dreams through her flourishing modeling career. As she navigates the male-dominated racing scene, Breidinger’s story is one of resilience, ambition, and the harsh realities of what it takes to succeed.

Breidinger’s transition from the ARCA Menards Series to a full-time seat in the Truck Series was met with high hopes and expectations. However, the reality of the track has presented challenges that have tested her resolve. With only two top-20 finishes and a best result of P15, critics have started to question her commitment. Adding fuel to the fire, her inability to qualify for the prestigious Daytona race left many wondering if she was spreading herself too thin between modeling and racing.

Yet, Breidinger is not one to crumble under pressure. She candidly admits that her dual careers are intertwined; her modeling gigs are not simply a side hobby but a crucial financial lifeline that supports her racing aspirations. “The modeling stuff kind of goes hand-in-hand with racing because I use that to help fund my racing career,” she explains. With racing being notoriously expensive, her modeling ventures serve a critical purpose beyond mere enjoyment.

Despite the glamour of modeling, Breidinger often finds herself drained, caught in a whirlwind of responsibilities that leave little room for personal time. She acknowledges the toll this duality takes on her, admitting, “I will kind of spread myself thin to get it all done.” While she thrives in both realms, there are moments when modeling feels less like a passion and more like a necessity to keep her racing dreams alive.

The harsh reality of sexism in sports has also reared its ugly head for Breidinger. She faces disparaging comments and skepticism about her place in NASCAR, but her resilience shines through. “I try not to read comments, but I think people don’t get that,” she asserts, reminding her critics that her modeling career is not just a frivolous escape but a vital component of her journey in motorsports.

As the 2026 season unfolds with rocky beginnings, Toni Breidinger remains undeterred. She is fueled by an unyielding motivation to prove herself in the Truck Series and achieve the recognition she deserves. Her story is a powerful reminder of the grit and perseverance required to break barriers in a fiercely competitive environment.

With her eyes set on future challenges, Breidinger is ready to defy the odds and carve her name into the annals of NASCAR history. As she continues to navigate the thrilling yet demanding worlds of modeling and motorsports, one thing is clear: Toni Breidinger is a force to be reckoned with, and she’s just getting started.
