The LEGO Technic Ultimate Car Concept series has just gained a new addition, the McLaren P1, a technologically advanced sports car with dynamic performance that has made it a reference among supercars.

Created with the intention of being “the best car in the world to drive both on the road and on the track”, the design and technical specifications of the McLaren P1 provided the perfect foundation to achieve this goal. The British brand’s model is still considered a milestone for both McLaren and the development of high-performance hybrid vehicles.

Now, thanks to LEGO, it will be possible to acquire the P1 for a price of €449.99, with this model being produced at a 1:8 scale and featuring 3893 pieces. Additionally, it has a unique serial number that unlocks behind-the-scenes content.

This LEGO version is equipped with a seven-speed gearbox, suspension, V8 engine, adjustable rear spoiler, and dihedral opening doors with advanced mechanism, all of which guarantee an immersive building experience from start to finish, authentic to the genuine McLaren P1.

The model was created by the LEGO Technic design team in collaboration with McLaren Automotive, and the two teams aimed to create a model that includes as many features as possible from the original model.

“It’s amazing to see so many elements of the original P1 brought to life by the LEGO team. I hope this collaboration inspires the next generation of designers and engineers to push the boundaries of automotive innovation.”, said Tobias Sühlmann, Director of Design, McLaren Automotive

The new P1 will be available for purchase starting from August 1st, on the LEGO online store.
