Opel bets on the new Frontera as a multifunctional SUV, and thus, the German brand decided to equip the model with unique features to please outdoor activity enthusiasts,
To this end, Opel has equipped the Frontera with the practical and stylish Thule Foothill rooftop tent, available at the Opel accessories store, just in time for the summer holidays that are approaching.

With the tent, camping enthusiasts and anyone looking for even more freedom on their short trips will be able to embark on adventures in the future without having to search for a hotel.
The agave green tent, when folded, measures only 61 centimeters in width, which is half the size of most rooftop tents available on the market. This leaves space on the Frontera’s roof to carry other leisure and sports equipment, such as bicycles or kayaks. Furthermore, when folded, the tent is only 24 centimeters above the roof bar.

Despite its compact size, the roof tent offers ample interior space for two people, as it has an area of 2.13 x 1.19 meters. Setting it up, even for one person, is easy and quick: just unfold the tent on the Frontera roof and insert the telescopic poles. Access to and exit from the tent is done via a ladder fixed to the side of the Frontera.
Opel also states that the main fabric of the tent is made of weather-resistant and durable material, capable of withstanding adverse conditions. Additionally, the fabric is breathable to reduce potential condensation buildup and make the stay in the tent more comfortable, even in humid weather. As for the price, the Thule Foothill roof tent with aluminum ladder is available for €2873.

“The Opel Frontera is synonymous with automotive freedom for everyone. This is evidenced by its pure and robust design, as well as its smart solutions and space for up to seven people inside. The Thule Foothill roof tent fits perfectly with this character. It opens up new possibilities for Frontera customers to use their SUV for overnight stays,” said Alejandro Noriega, director of Opel Spain and Portugal.
