Xiaomi mostra as primeiras imagens do YU7

The Chinese technology company Xiaomi is preparing to launch its second model, the YU7, a 100% electric SUV that will have a range of up to 770 km.

According to data revealed by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China (MIIT), the new model will be equipped with a dual-motor configuration, featuring a front motor with 295 hp, combined with a rear motor generating 386 hp, resulting in a total power output of 681 hp. The two electric motors will be powered by CATL batteries with a capacity of 96.3 kWh, offering three range options: 770 km, 760 km, and 675 km.

The new 100% electric Xiaomi model, expected to hit the Chinese market in mid-2025, measures 4.99 meters in length, 1.99 m in width, and 1.60 m in height, with a wheelbase of 3.0 meters.

Xiaomi has yet to reveal the interior of the new YU7, but it would not be surprising if it features a 16.1’’ screen, similar to what the brand equipped the SU7 with, and offers screens for rear-seat passengers.

Like the SU7, the new Xiaomi SUV is expected to incorporate a significant amount of technology, highlighted by the LiDAR sensor mounted on the roof, indicating that it is equipped with autonomous driving technology.

It is already known that the new YU7 will be produced at Xiaomi’s factory in Beijing, where the SU7 is manufactured, with its market arrival anticipated for the summer, aimed at competing with the Tesla Model Y.
