VW ID.7 GTX traz 340 cv de potência elétrica

VW has decided to expand the ID.7 range with the new GTX version, a designation used for sporty electric variants. Thus, the 100% electric “fastback” sedan from VW comes with two electric motors, one per axle, and a combined power of 340 hp, making it the most powerful electric model from the German brand.

The two electric motors are powered by a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 86 kWh, which promises a range of up to 595 km in WLTP combined cycle.

Benefiting from a larger battery, the charging power is 200 kW in direct current (DC), compared to the 175 kW of the ID.7 Pro, therefore needing 26 minutes to charge the battery from 10 to 80%.

The Wolfsburg brand also revealed that the new ID.7 GTX accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds, and that the maximum speed is limited to 180 km/h.

Visually, the new ID.7 GTX does not show major changes, but as always VW’s design team has equipped the model with sportier details, such as the “GTX” logos located at the front and rear, as well as a lower grille in the front section, along with 20” wheels.

Also noteworthy is the illuminated signature with new logos at the front and rear, as well as LED Matrix headlights and exclusive daytime running lights for this version.

In the interior, the highlight is the refined appearance with the adoption of a special multifunction steering wheel, heated seats with contrasting red stitching, and perforated GTX letters on the headrests.

The ID.7 GTX’s cabin also features ambient lighting with 30 colors, wireless App-Connect connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, augmented reality head-up display, IDA voice assistant with integrated ChatGPT, and dual-zone automatic air conditioning.

Among the optional features, VW highlights the Park Assist Pro, which allows users to control parking procedures through their smartphone.
