Tesla will not be renewing the Model Y this year. The confirmation came now on social media and was announced by Elon Musk, the strongman of the American electric car brand.
No Model Y “refresh” is coming out this year.

I should note that Tesla continuously improves its cars, so even a car that is 6 months newer will be a little better.
After Tesla revealed the refreshed Model 3 in April 2023, it was expected that they would introduce the updated version of the Model Y this year, a model internally known as ‘Juniper’, and which is expected to receive many updates made to the Model 3.
However, Elon Musk announced through his account on the social media platform “X” that no Model Y updates will take place this year, adding that “Tesla continuously improves its models”, Musk added.
It is worth noting that the Tesla leader’s social media post comes after the American brand notified its delivery consultants in February that an updated Model Y would not be released this year.
