VW has just revealed the new Amarok Dark Label, a version of the popular pickup from the Wolfsburg brand, which stands out for its exterior decoration in black, although there are other color options for the body besides the Midnight Black, such as Dark Grey and Bright Blue. Also on the exterior, specific badges, 20” matte black alloy wheels, and the grille and lower protection in black are highlighted. The Dark Label package also includes tinted windows, dark matte finished central pillars, and exterior mirrors, roof bars, side steps, door handles, and other elements in black. At the rear, there is a reference to the matte bar.
Inside the Amarok Dark Label, the difference is made by the seats with dark ArtVelours upholstery, and the doors, ceiling, and central console in Ebony Black. The name of the version is inscribed on the leather steering wheel and on the front velvet floor mats. With two 12.3” screens, one serving as a digital instrument panel and the other for controlling the infotainment system, this new version of the Amarok also includes 25 driving assistance systems.

In terms of engines, the Amarok Dark Label is offered with the 2.0 TDI turbodiesel, a four-cylinder inline engine, and the 3.0-V6 TDI with 240 hp. The 4Motion all-wheel drive system with “low range” allows it to tackle all off-road paths, the load capacity is 1180 kg, and the towing capacity, with the top engine, is 3500 kg.
