Toyota despede-se do GR Supra A90 com versão “Final Edition ” de 429 cv

Toyota has started the ordering period for the special edition GR Supra A90 Final Edition in selected European markets, a model that comes with an impressive price tag.

The ultimate version of the current GR Supra, which is limited to 300 units for Europe and Japan, is priced at €142,800 in Germany, while in France it costs around €144,000.

It is certain that the GR Supra A90 Final Edition is a very special version of the Japanese brand’s sports car, starting with the 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine sourced from BMW, which has been enhanced by Toyota engineers to deliver 435 hp and a maximum torque of 570 Nm. The power is transmitted to the rear wheels through an exclusive six-speed manual transmission.

The figures for this GR Supra A90 Final Edition represent an increase of 94 hp and 70 Nm compared to the “normal” version of the GR Supra, and for this, Toyota engineers refined the engine control unit, installed a low-pressure catalyst, revised the air intake, and updated the cooling system, as well as the active differential on the rear axle.

To handle all the extra power of this GR Supra A90 Final Edition, Toyota has equipped the limited-edition sports car with KW adjustable damping suspension, adjusted the electric steering, and fitted the model with a Brembo braking system featuring high-friction brake pads at the front and floating perforated discs on all four wheels. These components are concealed behind 19” alloy wheels at the front and 20” at the rear, which are shod with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, complemented by a titanium exhaust system from Akrapovic.

Visually, the exterior of this GR Supra Final Edition showcases a matte black body color and utilizes enhanced wind tunnel aerodynamics, including a front spoiler and a carbon fiber hood with air intakes, as well as a rear wing shaped like a swan neck.

The interior is characterized by red details, highlighting the Recaro bucket seats, with the driver’s seat in red complementing the black passenger seat, red seat belts, carbon fiber front protection plates, and Alcantara finishes, including a driver-focused sports steering wheel that emphasizes the exclusivity of this limited-edition model.
