Brabus apresenta o smart mais potente de sempre

Smart and Brabus unveiled the new #5 in April, featuring the German tuner’s stamp, which has transformed the well-known smart SUV into the most powerful model ever.

Set to become the flagship model of the Geely-owned brand, the new smart #5 Brabus is the latest standout product in the fully electric portfolio resulting from the collaboration between the two companies, boasting sports car performance.

To achieve this, the #5 Brabus is equipped with two electric motors, one for each axle, delivering a combined power output of 646 hp and a maximum torque of 710 Nm. The two electric motors, which provide all-wheel drive, are powered by a 100 kWh battery.

These figures allow the new #5 Brabus to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and reach a top speed limited to 210 km/h.

Built with an advanced 800-volt architecture, the #5 Brabus supports charging of up to 400 kW in direct current (DC), enabling the 100 kWh battery to recharge from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes. In alternating current (AC), the #5 Brabus charges at speeds of up to 22 kW, allowing the battery to recharge from 10% to 100% in less than 6 hours.

As for the range, smart announces that the #5 with Brabus signature is capable of reaching 540 km in a combined cycle on a single charge, a figure that will certainly be lower if we decide to explore all the power available in this model.

Aesthetically, the #5 Brabus features aggressive lines, distinct contours, and the elegant mark of the German tuner that reflects the sporty DNA of the model. With 21’’ Brabus Monoblock Z wheels and 10 spokes, the smart #5 stands out with its exclusive matte paint, red details, particularly the brake calipers that highlight the performance-focused character of this model.

Inside, the most powerful smart ever is equipped with heated seats upholstered in Alcantara, featuring heating and ventilation, a 10.3’’ digital instrument panel, and two 13’’ screens. Notably, the steering wheel is wrapped in Alcantara with illuminated Brabus lettering. The rear seats are made of microfiber and Dinamica with contrasting red stitching, and they are equipped with heating.

Smart has already announced that the most powerful version of the #5 has a starting price for the national market of €62,400, and it will be available for order starting May 22.
