Renascimento da Lancia avança na Europa em 2024

The return of Lancia foresees a range composed of three new models, one every two years, to cover 50% of the market. In this way, in 2024 the new Ypsilon will be presented as a hybrid and 100% electric, while in 2026 the brand will present its new flagship. A 100% electric version that will be produced at the Melfi factory in Italy.

The confirmation was made by Luca Napolitano, CEO of Lancia, who, without revealing the name of the new model, mentioned that it will be a fastback with almost 4.7 meters in length, and that it will be based on the STLA Medium platform.

“The new flagship of Lancia will be a stunning and elegant Italian car, beautiful inside and out, where we will truly feel like we are in the living room of an Italian home. The car will carry the Italian spirit throughout Europe, with almost 50% of the units sold outside of Italy. The STLA Medium platform will be perfect for Lancia: being a native BEV platform, it will be highly efficient to optimize comfort and will offer both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive versions. This platform will provide the new flagship of Lancia with top-level global performance in terms of efficiency and with a range of over 700 km,” stated Luca Napolitano.

Remember that in addition to the Ypsilon and the new flagship, Lancia plans to launch the Delta in 2028, as part of its 10-year strategy, which will allow the Italian brand to sell only electric vehicles from 2028 onwards.
