Honda has announced the arrival of the updated HR-V Hybrid in the national market, featuring new design details, more equipment, new practical functionalities, and a starting price of €37,500.
Launched in 2021, the Honda HR-V Hybrid has now been refreshed to maintain the well-known Japanese brand’s SUV as the heir to the pioneering technology present in the Honda Insight, which began Honda’s hybrid journey in Europe in 1999.
Aesthetically, the updated HR-V features a completely integrated new front grille and tinted rear windows. The robust and well-defined lines ensure an elegant yet minimalist silhouette, highlighted by the new full LED light signature at the rear section.
In addition to combining the advantages of a compact SUV with the dynamic character of a coupe, the updated Honda HR-V Hybrid continues to stand out for its functionality and cabin space, offering 1305 liters of capacity with the rear seats folded down.
To achieve this, it is equipped with new compartments and a magic seat system that allows the second-row seats to be folded down.
Inside the cabin, highlights include a digital instrument panel, a central console with a 9” screen for the Honda Connect infotainment system, as well as a compact steering wheel.
In terms of powertrain, the updated HR-V Hybrid features a 1.5 i-MMD engine, which combines a naturally aspirated 1.5 Atkinson cycle block with two electric motors, powered by a compact battery. This system delivers a power output of 131 hp and a maximum torque of 253 Nm, allowing for an announced average combined consumption of just 5.4 liters.
With three available driving modes (Sport, Econ, and Normal), Honda promises that the new HR-V Hybrid offers a unique and exciting driving experience, without any effort.
The compact SUV from Honda is also equipped with a wide range of systems that ensure active and passive safety, known as Honda Sensing, which includes features such as the Intelligent Speed Limiter and Lane Keeping Assist System, among others.
