The presence of Porsche in video games is no longer a novelty, as the Stuttgart brand frequently features in racing titles. However, in 2026, for the first time, the Weissach house will be included in a title from the Resident Evil series, one of the most profitable and popular in both the cinema and video game universes.
Resident Evil Requiem is set to be released on February 27, 2026, and continues the horror story that began in 1996. Since then, several video games, movies, books, and even comic books have been produced. But, for the automotive universe, one of the curiosities of this title will be the participation of a Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT as Leon Kennedy’s “service car,” one of the protagonists of the series. The version is available in the third “real” generation of the SUV and features a 4.0-V8 twin-turbo engine with 650 hp.

This news was revealed during the latest trailer for Resident Evil Requiem, in which the German SUV stands out prominently in the game produced by Capcom. However, it is not expected that the vehicle, specially designed for the protagonist and with a funny paint job, will be drivable in the game. “A collaboration with a brand that has captured the hearts of fans worldwide: Porsche”, wrote the game’s producer.
The German brand thus makes its debut in one of the most popular series in the gaming world (over 100 million copies sold worldwide, across various platforms, including consoles and PC). Porsche is currently focused on launching the fourth generation of the Cayenne, available only with 100% electric powertrains. However, the third generation will remain on sale, coexisting in the manufacturer’s catalog with its “successor.”
