Novo Porsche 911 Carrera T chega em versões Coupé e Cabriolet

Porsche expands the range of the new 911 with the addition of the dynamic 911 Carrera T, which features a manual transmission and is available for the first time in the Cabriolet variant.

The weight reduction measures, a dynamic tuning, and a six-speed manual transmission make this Carrera a purist’s dream for those who enjoy the superlative pleasure of driving.

The new Carrera T is equipped with the 3.0-liter twin-turbo boxer engine found in the “normal” Carrera, capable of producing 394 hp and 450 Nm of maximum torque, allowing the Coupe to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds, and the Cabriolet version in 4.5 seconds. The top speed is 295 km/h and 292 km/h, respectively.

In line with the increase in power compared to its predecessor, the Carrera T features a more powerful braking system, with a 350 mm brake disc and fixed six-piston calipers at the front axle. Combined with reduced interior insulation and the autoblip function, the standard sports exhaust system provides a particularly emotive soundtrack.

As always, the Sport Chrono Package, which includes the Track Precision app, is part of the standard equipment for the 911 Carrera T. Additionally, for the first time, Porsche has equipped this version with a standard rear-axle steering system, combined with a more direct steering response at the front axle, significantly optimizing the vehicle’s handling.

Lateral acceleration is achieved more quickly, and the steering responds more directly while enhancing stability. The 911 Carrera T receives a specific tuning for the rear-axle steering.

The Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) adaptive sports suspension, lowered by 10 mm, is also part of the standard equipment and receives a specific sports tuning for the model, making the driving experience of the Carrera T even more agile. The rear-axle steering and an optimized aerodynamic balance exclusive to the 911 Carrera T have allowed for the stabilizer bars on both the front and rear axles to be tuned for neutral handling. The 911 T is equipped with Carrera S wheels measuring 20 and 21 inches. The front tires are 245/35 ZR20 and the rear tires are 305/30 ZR21.

The Carrera T has several features that set it apart from the other versions. A sticker with the logo of the gear pattern on the triangular rear windows identifies it as a representative of the manual transmission model line.

The model designations on the rear are in a contrasting color, in Vanadium Grey, while the inserts in the rear lid grille, the upper and lower frames of the exterior mirrors, and the alloy wheels are also in Metallic Vanadium Grey. Another characteristic of the Carrera T is the aerodynamically optimized spoiler, taken from the 911 Carrera GTS.

Inside, Porsche has given the cabin a purist look, typical of the T model. The chronometer from the standard Sport Chrono Package is a standout element on the dashboard, and there are several special details that emphasize the exclusivity of the 911 Carrera T as a manual sports car: the gear shift lever is shorter and features a handle made of open-pore walnut wood.

In front of the gear lever is the ‘MT’ (Manual Transmission) logo. The gear pattern logo is printed on the dashboard on the passenger side. The standard equipment list also includes the GT sports steering wheel, heated, with a leather rim and a driving mode selector. Alternatively, a Race-Tex steering wheel is also available.
