XPeng has confirmed that the new generation of the electric P7 will make its European debut at the Munich Auto Show 2025 (IAA Mobility) taking place on the upcoming 8th.
The Chinese company has already announced that the presentation of the renewed P7 is not only aimed at showcasing its latest product to the European public but also at highlighting the latest achievements in Artificial Intelligence (AI) globally, emphasizing how AI can go beyond concepts and become a driving force in real-world applications.
It is worth noting that the second generation of the P7 was launched in China in August, featuring a design inspired by cyberpunk, highlighted by a front section that incorporates the latest lighting signature of the Chinese brand with a continuous LED strip.
The rear design mirrors the front section, with H-shaped taillights, accompanied by an active rear spoiler. Additionally, the bumper is equipped with smart blue turn signal lights.
The vehicle’s dimensions confirm its position as a sports sedan, measuring 5,017 mm in length, 1,970 mm in width, 1,427 mm in height, and with a wheelbase of 3,008 mm, featuring a drag coefficient of 0.201 Cd.
Note also the darkened pillars that create a floating ceiling effect, while the X-shaped wheel design resembles the XPeng brand logo.
Inside, the highlight is the “Technology Island” panel, which incorporates a head-up display with augmented reality features, a 15.6” infotainment system screen, along with a three-spoke sports steering wheel and dynamic ambient lighting.
The revamped P7 comes with an 800 V electric architecture and is available in single motor and dual motor configurations, with the rear-wheel drive version delivering a maximum power output of 367 hp. The all-wheel drive version, on the other hand, offers a combined power of 595 hp.
Powering the electric motors are batteries with capacities of 74.9 kWh and 92.2 kWh. In terms of charging, the P7 supports 5C supercharging with a maximum power of 486 kW, which promises to allow a 10-minute charge to add 512 km of range. A charge from 10% to 80% of the battery can be completed in 11.3 minutes.
In terms of autonomy, XPeng announces that the renewed P7 can reach 702 km of autonomy, in the generous Chinese cycle CLTC, in the version with the 74.9 kWh battery, and 820 km for the version equipped with the 92.2 kWh battery. The all-wheel-drive variant promises a range of up to 750 km.
