Lucid Air Sapphire chega à Europa no terceiro trimestre

A Lucid, the American electric vehicle manufacturer, has now announced that it will begin delivering the new Air Sapphire in Europe in the third quarter of 2025.

The world’s most powerful sedan, as well as the most expensive, with the top model priced at around €250,000, features three electric motors, one in the front and two in the back, producing a combined power of 1251 hp and 1940 Nm of maximum torque, allowing the company to announce an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in two seconds and a top speed of 330 km/h.

The three electric motors are powered by a 118 kWh battery, which boasts a range of 694 km, and benefiting from a 900V architecture, requires less than 20 minutes for a charge of 400 km of range.

According to the brand, the special features of the Air Sapphire include aerodynamic optimization for better downforce and efficiency at high speeds.

The exterior is designed to impress with its unique metallic sapphire blue paint finish combined with carbon-look elements and decorative trims. The Sapphire’s forged aluminum wheels are equipped with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires as standard.

The Lucid Air Sapphire features four driving modes: Smooth, Swift, Sapphire, and Track. Each mode is optimized for different conditions and driving styles and influences the vehicle’s dynamics and the behavior of the suspension, steering, torque vectoring, power, and the braking system, which includes carbon-ceramic discs, with a diameter of 420 mm at the front and 390 mm at the rear, and ten-piston calipers at the front and four at the rear.

Note also the Track driving mode, which is designed for track use and offers three sub-modes: Dragstrip, Hot Lap, and Endurance.

In the interior, highlight the 34” screen identical to that used in the Grand Touring version, where all driving-related data is displayed. Also note the “Sapphire Mojave” design pack, which features sport seats specially developed for this model, offering good lateral support and combining sporty contours with comfort functions such as heating, cooling, and massage.
