The Big Machine Music City Grand Prix has revealed a diverse list of musical artists to complement the IndyCar season finale taking place on September 14th and 15th.
Taking center stage right before the Sunday race will be Daughtry, followed by a performance by Riley Green immediately after the race.
Numerous country and rock music artists will entertain the audience during the event, including during the on-track actions.
Over the course of two days, a total of 15 different artists, such as Noah Hicks, Redferrin, Greylan James, and many others, will take the stage.
Fans who purchase race tickets will have free access to all the concerts, with weekend passes starting at $149.
“Music has always been an integral part of our racing experience since our launch in 2021, and this year is no exception,” said Scott Borchetta, founder and CEO of Big Machine.
“The fusion of sound and speed will be brought to life as we showcase some of today’s most talented and promising artists. The music performances will take place on Saturday and Sunday at the iHeartCountry FanZone stage, with additional performances by the track on Sunday.
“This is a weekend experience you won’t want to miss!”
Nashville is known as the World Capital of Country Music, and since IndyCar began racing in the city in 2021, concerts have been a regular feature alongside the racing action.
Although this is the fourth edition of the Music City Grand Prix, 2024 will be the first year the event takes place at the Nashville Superspeedway oval.
Due to the construction of a new Tennessee Titans football stadium, the event had to move away from the downtown streets to the nearby 1.33-mile oval. However, it managed to maintain its prestigious position as the season finale.
The last time IndyCar raced on the Nashville oval was in 2008, when Scott Dixon emerged victorious in the rain-shortened race for the third time.
