Hyundain Elantra N ganha versão TCR Edition

The sports division of Hyundai has decided to spice up the Elantra N with a special version inspired by its “brother” from the Touring Car Racing (TCR) World Tour, representing the experience the brand has gained since joining the World Touring Car Championship in 2017.

This is the Elantra TCR Edition, a version aimed at track enthusiasts, featuring a large rear wing that catches the eye at first glance.

This generous adjustable aerodynamic rear wing was designed by Hyundai N engineers to increase downforce at high speeds. Additionally, this Elantra TCR Edition comes with 19-inch forged N TCR wheels, which, according to the South Korean brand’s sports division, help reduce unsprung weight for sharper dynamics, complemented by an N Performance braking system with four-piston calipers. The exterior also features an exclusive TCR Edition livery.

Inside, Hyundai has equipped this Elantra TCR Edition with a sporty steering wheel wrapped in Alcantara featuring the Hyundai Performance Blue top marker, as well as seat belts with the TCR Edition logo.

Mechanically, there are no changes compared to the Elantra N, meaning that this TCR Edition version is equipped with the same 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine as the standard version, capable of delivering 276 hp, which can reach up to 286 hp with Hyundai’s “N Grin Shift” overboost.

Hyundai has announced plans to launch the Elantra TCR Edition in South Korea next month in December, with this model aimed at motorsport fans set to reach other global markets in 2025.
