After the official presentation at the end of 2024, Forthing launched the new S7, a 100% electric sedan, in the national market. With fluid and minimalist lines, adopting a fastback concept, the S7 stands out from other sedans, measuring 4.93 meters in length, 1.91 meters in width, and 1.49 meters in height, dimensions carefully designed to maximize both aesthetics and aerodynamics.
Aerodynamic efficiency was one of the major development focuses of the S7, which features a drag coefficient (Cx) of 0.191. This impressive value is aided by a closed front section to reduce turbulence, retractable door handles that minimize drag, and wheels designed to improve airflow efficiency.

Additionally, the roofline gently slopes from the B-pillar, contributing to lower aerodynamic resistance. On the other hand, the flat underbody enhances airflow beneath the vehicle, while the integrated “ducktail” rear spoiler optimizes the car’s stability and efficiency. Notably, the headlights, designed in the shape of a “7”, reinforce the visual identity of the S7.
At the rear, the highlight is a sophisticated design with full LED headlights interconnected by a light strip that runs the entire length of the trunk.

The interior of the Forthing S7 offers a minimalist and high-tech environment, according to the brand, across both trim levels, featuring dark or light Vegan leather, high-quality sustainable materials, and antibacterial properties.
Focusing on user comfort, the front seats come with electric adjustments in six positions and heating and ventilation functions, designed to ensure comfortable journeys, regardless of their duration or conditions. Additionally, the S7 is equipped with digital screens, measuring 8.8” for the instrument panel and 14.6” for the central touchscreen control.

In terms of storage, the Forthing S7 offers a trunk with 398 liters of space, which can expand up to 1,303 liters with the rear seats folded down, including 114 liters from the sub-compartment under the flat floor.
Moreover, the storage space is further complemented by a front trunk with a capacity of 50 liters, door pockets in the front, an interior compartment in the center console between the seats, among other storage spaces.

The “heart” of the Forthing S7 is a permanent magnet electric motor, installed on the rear axle, which delivers a power of 209 hp and 310 Nm of torque, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds.
The electric motor is powered by a lithium iron phosphate battery with a capacity of 56.8 kWh, providing a combined range of 420 km, according to the WLTP cycle, and 581 km in urban conditions.

The battery allows for charging at a maximum power of 120 kW, enabling it to be recharged from 30% to 80% in 25 minutes using direct current (DC). For home chargers, the 6.6 kW (AC) power allows the battery to be fully recharged in about nine hours.
As for pricing, Forthing has already announced that the new electric sedan S7 is available starting at €43,000, a price that does not include legalization and transportation costs.
