The Bahrain Grand Prix of Formula 1 takes place this Saturday, marking the start of the new season. Yesterday’s qualifying in Sakhir determined the complete starting grid.

Without incidents or setbacks that would justify penalties, there are no changes to the on-track results. Max Verstappen (Red Bull) starts from pole position, with Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) alongside him in second.

Behind them, George Russell (Mercedes) and Carlos Sainz (Ferrari) will start in third and fourth respectively, while the third row will feature Sergio Pérez (Red Bull) and Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin/Mercedes).

Further down, Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) will start from ninth, while the grid is completed by the Alpines of Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly in 19th and 20th positions respectively.
