Porsche has announced that it will unveil the first GT model of the new 911 on October 18th.
The Stuttgart brand has already indicated that the new 911 from the GT department in Flacht will be presented in two distinct variants. “Both are more emotional, offer customers new possibilities for personalization, and feature innovative details”, states Porsche’s press release.
It is worth recalling that recently, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 911 Turbo, Porsche launched an exclusive edition of its iconic sports car, the 911 Turbo 50 Years, which combines performance with the finest materials and exclusive design elements.
This edition, based on the 911 Turbo, is equipped with a 3.7-liter six-cylinder engine with two variable geometry turbochargers (VTG) that delivers 650 hp and a maximum torque of 800 Nm, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds and reach 200 km/h in less than 8.9 seconds.
