Ferrari is working to present its first 100% electric model, which is expected to happen by the end of 2025, and the price of the new model should be around €500,000, according to a source close to the project told “Reuters”.

This price will position the electric Ferrari slightly above the plug-in hybrid SF90 Stradale, and significantly higher than most of the current high-performance 100% electric models. However, it remains considerably more affordable than some hypercars like the Rimac Nevera.

The fact that Ferrari is considering selling its first electric model for a value not less than half a million euros “reveals the brand’s confidence that the wealthiest fans are ready for it”, highlights Reuters.

Little is known about the new 100% electric Ferrari, which will be built in the new Maranello factory, to be inaugurated on Friday, June 20, and which, according to Ferrari, should be fully operational within three to four months.

The new production unit will allow Ferrari to produce new models with gasoline, hybrid, and fully electric engines, which according to the brand will contribute to increasing production by up to a third, from 13,663 units in 2023 to about 20,000 units per year, which may relieve long waiting lists and meet growing demand, especially in emerging markets.
