The previous record belonged to the new sedan Roewe D7 DMH, a brand owned by SAIC Motor, which managed to travel 2,208 km with a full tank and a fully charged battery, recording an average consumption of just 2.49 liters per 100 km, which constitutes a record.
The new Chery Fulwin A8L is available in China in 5 versions, with the entry-level versions utilizing a 1.5-liter engine that has a maximum power of 100 hp and a maximum torque of 125 Nm. Additionally, there is a 250 hp electric motor mounted at the front, which provides a maximum torque of 310 Nm. This gives the system a combined power of 300 hp and a torque of 435 Nm.
The electric motor in these versions is powered by a 9.53 kWh capacity battery that allows for an all-electric range of up to 70 km in the CLTC cycle.
