The Caramulo Museum has announced the schedule of dates and locations for vehicle certifications of historical interest in the month of October.
On the upcoming August 12, the technicians from the Caramulo Museum will be in Funchal, as well as in the cities of Braga, Castelo Branco, Coimbra, Lisbon, and Porto.
On October 19, it will be Aveiro’s turn, while a new certification is scheduled for October 26 in the cities of Vila Real, Lisbon, Portalegre, Estremoz, and Viana do Castelo. It is already known that any owner of a classic vehicle can join this process by simply making their online appointment.
It should be noted that according to Decree-Law 144/2017, all vehicles older than 30 years that are certified by the Caramulo Museum as Vehicles of Historical Interest are exempt from the Mandatory Periodic Inspection (IPO).
Furthermore, all vehicles manufactured after 1981 up to the age of 30 years are also eligible for the exemption from IUC.
