O motivo de $35 milhões pelo qual VCARB está hesitante em demitir Daniel Ricciardo apesar do início fraco da temporada de 2024

The disappointing start to Daniel Ricciardo’s Formula 1 season has been catching attention in the F1 paddock. However, Red Bull continues to show support for the Australian driver so far.

Red Bull has gained a reputation for being uncompromising when it comes to managing their drivers. In the previous season, a driver was released from AlphaTauri during their debut campaign due to a series of unsatisfactory performances. However, Ricciardo seems to have the backing of the Austrian team, despite his unimpressive start to the current season.

Throughout this season, Ricciardo has consistently been outperformed by Yuki Tsunoda. There were rumors that the Australian driver had a two-race ultimatum after the Australian Grand Prix. However, the CEO of VisaCashAppRB emphasized the importance of Daniel Ricciardo to the Italian team.

According to ESPN, the reason Red Bull hesitates to release Ricciardo is his involvement in the team’s main sponsorship deal. AlphaTauri was renamed VisaCashAppRB this year after securing a substantial $35 million deal with Visa and CashApp. It is reported that CAA Sports, representing Ricciardo, played a crucial role in finalizing this agreement between AlphaTauri and the two American companies.

It is believed that Ricciardo’s presence has contributed to the overall value of this sponsorship deal. With a significant fan base and recognition as the face of the Netflix documentary, many still see him as a marketable asset. Although RB’s main sponsors do not have a direct influence on driver line-ups, Red Bull acknowledges the commercial importance of the Australian driver. This provides an additional layer of protection for the 34-year-old driver against a possible dismissal by the Austrian team.

The Red Bull team boss, Christian Horner, is known for being a supporter of Daniel Ricciardo. The 50-year-old man has left the door open for Ricciardo’s return to Milton Keynes next season, if he can prove his worth once again. Horner recently reaffirmed his belief in Ricciardo’s abilities. Despite the Australian driver’s disappointing results, Christian Horner remains convinced that the 34-year-old driver will bounce back. However, the Red Bull team boss acknowledged that being a Formula 1 driver can be a lonely experience at times, and emphasized the importance of supporting Ricciardo in such situations.

Daniel Ricciardo is determined to make a comeback in Formula 1. The Australian driver intends to continue racing for Red Bull Racing next season. However, he will need to demonstrate his worth after three disappointing races so far. Fans will undoubtedly be eagerly awaiting Ricciardo’s return to his best form.
