Tesla lança serviço de robotáxi em Austin

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, has now announced that the robotaxi service will arrive within “one to two months” on the streets of San Francisco, USA.

The strongman of the American electric vehicle brand made the announcement on social media, where he made it clear that Tesla will expand the robotaxi service to “a larger area in Austin already next weekend”, not specifying, however, the location or size of the expansion.

It should be noted that Tesla launched the robotaxi service in the city of Austin, Texas, at the end of June, and the expansion of the service now announced by Musk is seen as crucial for the brand’s future, considering that electric vehicle sales have been experiencing sharp declines since the beginning of 2025, largely due to strong competition and Elon Musk’s political positions.
