Although it requires the driver’s full attention, this driving mode was put to the test by a Tesla owner in Canada, who after watching a soccer game, took a 50-minute trip back home with the autonomous driving system active.
It is important to remember that the Full-Self Driving system remains a driving aid device, which means that the driver is the sole responsible onboard.
Furthermore, the Autopilot and FSD provided by Tesla in Europe are more restrictive than those sold to North American drivers, due to the legislation in place in both continents.
