Tesla is preparing for the arrival of its 100% electric truck, the Semi, in the European market and already in September, the heavy vehicle will be one of the stars of the IAA Transportation 2024, which will take place from September 17 to 22 in Hannover, Germany.
The presence of the Tesla Semi at the German event comes at a time when the head of Tesla’s Semi business development program, Graham Carroll, announced that the company is “taking steps to bring the Semi to Europe” and has therefore published that it is looking for an “EmEA Business Development Manager EMEA” who will be based in Amsterdam or Berlin.
It should be noted that Tesla’s 100% electric truck has been launched in the US, with the brand delivering the vehicle to carefully selected customers, however, the Semi has not yet reached foreign markets.
Elon Musk announced in February that Tesla’s factory in Berlin could potentially produce the Semi, which may be confirmed in the near future with the brand’s intention to bring the 100% electric truck to the European market.
