Tesla is ready to unveil its first autonomous car, a robotaxi, which Elon Musk, the strongman of the American brand, revealed will be presented on August 8th
In a message on social media, Musk announced the date on which Tesla will introduce the brand’s robotaxi, at a time when the development of autonomous vehicles has faced doubts from regulatory authorities and the public regarding road safety.

The American specialized press points out that this new autonomous vehicle will be built using a new platform for Tesla’s next-generation cars.
It is worth noting that Tesla announced last week lower-than-expected sales in the first quarter of 2024, mainly due to the U.S. market and the increasing competition from traditional car manufacturers in the electric vehicle segment.
Furthermore, Elon Musk denied reports that Tesla had abandoned plans to produce a low-cost electric vehicle, priced at around €23,000.
