Tesla has discontinued the luxury sedan Model S and the SUV Model X from its product line in Europe, despite both models from the American electric vehicle brand still being available on the brand’s website, but only the units in ‘stock’, which cannot be customized to the customer’s preference.
The suspension of orders for the two electric models from Tesla in Europe comes after Elon Musk’s brand did the same in the world’s largest automotive market, China, and in markets with right-hand drive.
For now, it is not clear that Tesla has decided to end the two models in Europe, and the future of the Model S and Model X may thus involve an update, similar to the Model Y. However, the sharp decline in sales of the two models recently may lead Elon Musk’s brand to question a renewal of the two models.
It is worth noting that Musk has already announced that for several years Tesla has continued to offer the Model S and Model X only for “sentimental reasons.”
