It is already on Saturday, May 11, that the Portuguese will be able to get to know Tesla’s 100% electric pick-up. The Cybertruck, presented by Elon Musk in 2023, is in Portugal as part of the “Odyssey” event, which will take the new Tesla model to visit several countries in Europe.
The first stop of the Cybertruck in Portugal is at the Porto store, then moving on to Lisbon where it will be on display on May 15 and 16.
The Cybertruck is unlikely to be commercialized in Europe, but the American brand has three versions of the model. The entry-level variant, called Single Drive RWD, has only one motor and rear-wheel drive with an estimated range of up to 400 km and an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 6.5 seconds. This version will only be available in 2025.
Next is a variant with two motors, which offers a power of 608 hp and a range of 480 km, and allows an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds.
The top-of-the-range version uses three electric motors delivering 875 hp of power, ensuring an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds.
