It’s an enticing new chapter in the world of Formula 1 racing, as Charles Leclerc, the Monegasque racer, pinpoints a striking similarity between his driving style and that of Lewis Hamilton, the seven-time F1 champion. This resemblance, Leclerc believes, could be a strategic boon for the Ferrari team as they gear up for the development of their 2025 F1 car.

As the new racing season beckons, Hamilton, the British racing stalwart, has stepped into the shoes of Carlos Sainz, bringing a fresh dynamic into the Ferrari garage. Ferrari, with an eye on the championship title that has eluded them since 2008, is banking on Hamilton’s extensive experience from numerous victorious campaigns.

Leclerc, who is about to embark on his seventh Formula 1 season with Ferrari, has been candid about the positive impact Hamilton has had on the team in the preliminary stages of their association. Speaking to the press, Leclerc expressed his admiration for Hamilton’s professional journey and the successes he has achieved with other teams.

According to Leclerc, Hamilton’s excitement about the collaboration has been infectious, making the off-season an enjoyable period for him. While he spent this time honing his skills and preparing for the upcoming races, he was also keenly observing Hamilton’s approach.

Hamilton’s transition to the Italian team was facilitated by a meticulous testing program arranged by Ferrari, featuring several sessions at Fiorano and Barcelona. It was during these sessions that Leclerc noticed the similarities in their driving styles. Both drivers, it appears, prefer a more aggressive approach, particularly during entries. This finding could be instrumental in shaping Ferrari’s strategy for the development of their 2025 contender, the SF-25.

Leclerc’s revelation about their similar driving styles and shared requirements from the car could indeed be a significant asset for Ferrari. As the team charts its course for the future, having two drivers who push in the same direction will undoubtedly foster a harmonious and productive working environment.

Despite their limited track time together, Leclerc and Hamilton have spent a fair amount of time off the track, collaborating on various promotional activities. Leclerc is eagerly anticipating the chance to race alongside Hamilton and is hopeful that their combined efforts will restore Ferrari to its former glory.

This exciting new partnership between Hamilton and Leclerc is already garnering attention in the racing world. Oliver Bearman, for instance, has noted the changes Hamilton has brought to Ferrari. As the new season approaches, all eyes will undoubtedly be on this dynamic duo as they strive to lead Ferrari to victory.
