The Pu+Ra HPE prototype opened the doors to the rebirth of Lancia, a brand with 116 years of history and a rich legacy, including iconic models such as the Flaminia, Aurelia B24 Spider, the sporty Delta, or the Fulvia, for example – in addition to the unavoidable Stratos, the latter from a mythical era in the World Rally Championship. But the start of a new chapter in the manufacturer’s history is scheduled for next February, with the presentation of the new Ypsilon, the only Lancia that remains in commercialization to this day.
The first “teaser” image of the interior model was only released today, on the occasion of Lancia’s 117th anniversary, and it shows the first “tavolino” (which means table in Italian), integrated “on board a car so that users feel at home, wherever they are,” said Luca Napolitano, CEO of Lancia. The concept of a “homely feeling” that has always been central to Lancia, and that has now become even more relevant, thanks to the collaboration with Cassina. The new Lancia Ypsilon, with a 100% electric engine, will be available in a limited edition series called Cassina Edizione Limitata, in only 1906 numbered units.
